This page lists the cookies and similar technologies used on home-gym-shop.com, what each one does, who sets it and how long it lasts. It is a companion to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with personal information generally.
The short version
Cookies that make the store work — your cart, your login, the security of checkout — are always on, because without them there is no store. Everything else is off until you allow it, and you can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat that as a refusal automatically and you will not see a banner at all.

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to store, so it can recognise your browser on the next page or the next visit. “Similar technologies” means things that do the same job by other means — local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels. Where we say “cookie” below we mean all of them.
A first-party cookie is set by home-gym-shop.com. A third-party cookie is set by another company whose code runs on the page — for us that is Stripe at checkout, and Google and Meta if you allow analytics or advertising.
Strictly necessary — always on
These do not require consent because the store cannot function without them. They carry no advertising identifiers and are not shared with anyone.

Marketing — only with your consent
These measure our advertising and let those platforms show our ads to people who have looked at the store. This is the category that California law may treat as “sharing” personal information — see Do Not Sell or Share. Declining them has no effect on prices, shipping, returns or support.

What blocking does before you choose
Until you allow a category, the code that would set those cookies is prevented from loading at all — it is not merely told to behave. We also use Google Consent Mode, which means Google’s own tags start in a denied state and only change if you allow them.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Independently of anything we do, every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the cart and checkout from working, which is a browser setting we cannot override. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all sites with the add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, manage Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com and Meta ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.
Changes to this page
We review this list whenever we add or remove a service that could set a cookie, and we update the effective date when we do. If we add a new category of cookie we will ask for your consent again rather than assume the old answer covers it. This version took effect on August 11, 2026.
